Too many Saugers and not enough Walleyes. The Igloo Bar is worth the trip!
Fishing was very good and the cabin was nice and the Jacuzzi was nice as the pool
We stayed in the 6 bedroom deluxe cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and we really enjoyed our time there with family. For what we paid, I was disappointed in the customer service (or lack of) that we didn't receive. It was implied that we were familiar with the resort. We didn't get a map or actual check-in info. There wasn't a key to lock/unlock the cabins. We weren't asked for ID when we came and said we had a cabin which is odd. I'm originally from the area and get the "small town" vibe but it's still disappointing that we weren't given any info or official welcome to the resort type of thing. Beautiful area of Minnesota and I'd definitely visit the Zippel Bay Area but I might look into another resort.
The people who work there want everyone to have a vacation of a lifetime. Friendly people, fantastic fishing, luxurious log cabins.
We had another awesome time at Zippel Bay resort. Our 8 hour fishing charter was topped off with a great Captain (Jake). He put us right on the fish and we were catching all day!! Thanks for having such a great place to be and enjoy our day.
