Absolutely an amazing beach to see, the beach would get 5 stars. Camping is a little more rustic then other state parks (no electricity sites and out house bathrooms only and the showers need to be driven to from all camp sites).
What a beautiful park! We camped here Labor Day Weekend and we really enjoyed it. The campsites were not quite as secluded as we like, but it was quiet. The hiking was nice and the lake at sunset was beautiful. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful park with good swimming beach right on Lake of the Woods. Lots of flat grass walking trails. Gorgeous campgrounds, but unfortunately no electric sites. Tons of blue berries and raspberries in the park.
One of my favorite places to swim in all of Minnesota! You can walk out in the super soft sandy bottom lake nearly a mile with depths ranging from 6" to 4/5'. Perfect for lounging in a floaty all day! LOVED IT! We didn't spend any time checking out the park, just the beach.
